If you like spicy food, then you’ll love this paleo & whole30 friendly recipe.
Add it to any of your favorite Mexican or Thai dishes for an extra kick.
To adjust the heat of this sauce just add more or less chipotle peppers.
For this batch we used 2 and it was more than hot enough for us and my husband l-o-v-e-s spicy foods, so be careful.
It’s easier to gear up the heat than cool it down, so start with one and add more until you reach your desired spiciness.
All you’ll need to make this spicy chipotle sauce is a small food chopper.
The one we used here is a Rival mini-food chopper.
Ingredients
- 3/4 Can Coconut Milk (Thai Kitchen brand is what we use)
- Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
- 2 chipotle peppers
- 1 tbsp Adobo Sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cilantro
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients into small kitchen mixer and blend together.
- When consistency is smooth add cilantro leaves and pulse briefly
